Systems Administrator
S3, Inc. requires a System Administrator with networking experience to join the corporate IT team at our Huntsville, AL HQ in Research Park.
This is not a teleworking position. US citizenship is required.
DescriptionThe System Administrator will be a highly experienced IT professional who plays a critical leadership role in designing, implementing, managing, and securing an organization's complex IT infrastructure and server environments. They are responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of enterprise‑level information systems that support core organizational functions.
Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance, guidance, training, and system documentation for system users in a DOD‑funded contractor facility or a government facility.
- Minimum 12 years of IT System Administration with networking experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- A Secret Clearance required
- Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Exchange Server (on‑prem and O365), VMware, AWS, Azure, Nutanix AHV, Event Log Auditing, Backups, Office 365, SharePoint Administration
- Network experience including firewall management (Fortinet or CISCO), VPN, Wireless Access Points
- Additional experience: administration of two‑factor authentication systems, CMMC processes and POAM management, POTS and VoIP phone system management, security monitoring/patching
- Support multiple locations (Four companies)
