GDS Systems Administrator (mid-to-senior) – Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal)

Crossflow Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide direct user support in a Linux lab. The selected candidate will build, operate, and maintain a private Linux enclave for R&D and M&S execution in a fully cyber‑compliant configuration. The role involves establishing cyber‑compliant ownership for the domain, providing user support, group and account management, patching, STIG implementation, troubleshooting, and ticketing system support.

• Build, operate, and maintain a private Linux enclave for R&D and M&S execution.
• Establish cyber‑compliant ownership for the domain, including documentation and support for Authority to Operate (ATO) via RMF.
• Provide all layers of user support: group & account management, application of security controls, and problem troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage containerization technology within the enclave.
• Maintain and update system documentation and cyber package documentation.
• Work with ticketing system to resolve software and hardware issues.

• Minimum 8 years of Systems Administration experience.
• Active cyber security certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD certified). Linux Computing Environment certification required.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with STIG implementation, patching, and hardening.
• Experience with containerized environments.
• Proficiency with Linux systems administration.

• Windows systems administration.
• Virtualized environments such as VMWare ESX.
• Network administration.
• Host Based Security System (HBSS) implementation.
• Implementation of cyber scans such as ACAS and SCAP.
• Containerized environments (additional).
