We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a mission-critical federal program focused on application development, system modernization, and national security initiatives.
This is a high-impact role responsible for bridging business needs and technical solutions within a secure, Agile-driven environment. Your work will directly support mission operations, system delivery, and operational readiness.
You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define requirements, improve processes, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements across application and platform efforts
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to support solution design and delivery
Facilitate requirements sessions, user story development, and backlog refinement
Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Analyze current systems and processes to identify gaps, improvements, and optimization opportunities
Ensure traceability of requirements through development, testing, and deployment
Support system testing, validation, and user acceptance activities
Document workflows, system behaviors, and data flows
Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance
Experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in application development environments
Strong experience gathering and documenting functional requirements and user stories
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Experience collaborating with technical teams (developers, testers, engineers)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience supporting enterprise or complex systems

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting federal, DoD, or other regulated environments

Experience with system or process modeling (workflows, use cases, diagrams)
Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA or similar)
Experience supporting system testing and validation efforts Work Environment Fully onsite at Redstone Arsenal (Huntsville, AL)
Monday–Friday within standard core business hours
