RequirementsWe require expert‑level proficiency with Splunk. We need experience managing POA&M and supporting vulnerability management efforts. We need a solid grasp of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols, and common hardware platforms. We need basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, SSH, TCP, and UDP. We require familiarity with WAN and LAN environments, including routing, switching, and firewall technologies. We need experience with security device architecture, engineering, and installation or administration.
We need working knowledge of Cisco firewalls. We need knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Cisco IOS, and RHEL. We prefer candidates with CISSP certification. We require a bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience.
We monitor and assess the security posture of networks, servers, endpoints, and related systems. We respond to security issues promptly after they are identified. We collect and analyze intelligence to map adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. We investigate computer and information security incidents. We perform forensic analysis of networks and hosts, and support intrusion detection and threat hunting. We conduct penetration testing to measure system resilience.
We maintain operational tool proficiency, develop countermeasures, and spot patterns in adversary behavior and vulnerabilities. We support operational planning for training, exercises, operations, and integrated cyber activities targeting hostile threats. We apply advanced knowledge of concepts, methods, practices, and procedures to technical assignments. We perform additional duties as needed.
