Pending Contract Award

• Primary Function - Enterprise DB Operations (PWS 1.16.7.1):
  Manages enterprise database operations including capacity planning, performance optimization, problem prediction, and maintenance coordination across Financial Management, Logistics, Configuration Management, Program Management, Contracts Management, and Systems Engineering applications.
• Cross-Functional DB Backup & Security (PWS 1.16.8, 1.16.7.3):
  Cross-trained in Backup and Recovery Management to ensure database backup schedules and data integrity checks align with the enterprise backup strategy, enabling the DBA to execute database-level recovery during contingency events. Cross-trained in application security to manage database-level access controls and privileges in direct coordination with the Cybersecurity team, preventing authorization gaps during application updates.

• Experience:
  
  Microsoft SQL Server administration; database performance tuning, optimization, and indexing; managing database backups, restores, and recovery models; securing databases in accordance with DISA STIGs.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications:
  
  IAT Level II certification required per DoDM 8140.03.
• Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  5 to 10 years of database administration experience.
• Security Clearance:
  Active SECRET clearance.

Work Arrangement:
On-site (embedded within the OCIO); situational telework may be authorized on a case-by-case basis with COR/KO approval

Travel Requirements: CONUS travel may be required; all travel requires prior written COR approval per JTR/FAR 31.205-46
