Applied Algorithms Engineer

As an Applied Algorithms Engineer in APL's Data Science & AI Department, you will design, implement, and optimize advanced algorithms that power critical defense and aerospace missions. You'll apply AI/ML, signal processing, and optimization to complex, real-world data, transitioning prototypes into robust, deployable solutions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary experts in a mission-driven, highly collaborative culture, you'll tackle high-impact national security and space challenges while enjoying strong support for research, publication, and advanced education in a not-for-profit, university-affiliated setting.
