IT Intern

We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to support daily information technology operations and assist with cybersecurity-related documentation. This role is ideal for a current student pursuing an IT-related degree who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

This is a part time, onsite position located in Huntsville, AL with an estimated 24-30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities Perform user onboarding tasks in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktops and laptops, including hardware and software installation

Conduct routine printer and copier maintenance

Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of Cybersecurity policies and procedures

Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support IT documentation efforts

Provide general IT support as needed to support business operations

Required Qualifications Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to gather and analyze information, identify problems, and propose solutions

Basic knowledge of personal computers, IT terminology, and common software applications

Ability to prepare clear documentation and written instructions

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft 365

Familiarity with Windows-based desktop and server operating systems

Experience configuring laptops and desktops

Exposure to DoD-related IT environments (preferred but not required)

Minimum Education / Experience Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution

Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
