SE&V Performance Assessment Engineer E4
Location:
Huntsville, AL Security Clearance:
Secret
Active Secret clearance required.
Position ResponsibilitiesThe selected applicant will perform the following:
- Develop ad-hoc post-processing analysis tools and plots to assess and analyze C2
BMC performance (preferably using Java, Python, or MATLAB). - Track C2
BMC development updates and perform analysis to detect regressions after code changes. - Collaborate across teams to understand and perform deep-dive analysis of C2
BMC performance using established Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs), Special Interest Items (SIIs), and other metrics to determine the efficacy of the C2
BMC System related to timing, track quality, discrimination accuracy, and other parameters over large datasets. - Act as the technical liaison between analysts and developers; translate analysis findings into concrete, actionable development tasks.
- Create analysis documents and briefings, including detailed presentations used by internal and external leadership to assess C2
BMC performance.
- Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
Relevant applied experience in Software Engineering and additional skills such as:
- Programming languages including Java, C++, and Python.
- Database management.
- Networking or data communications.
- Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience producing tools and products to assist with the analysis or assessment of a system or project, preferably using Java and Python.
- Experience with Dev Ops-related tools, including Jenkins, HTCondor, and Git Lab.
- Familiarity with applying statistical distributions in hypothesis testing, model validation, inferential statistics, confidence interval estimation, and interpretation of goodness-of-fit tests.
- Experience performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems.
- Experience creating and presenting chart packages for tooling or analysis performed.
- Experience or familiarity with modern computing hardware (servers, storage, virtual machines), architecture, and network practices.
