Classified Services is responsible for Aerospace's classified enterprise IT environment. As a Classified Systems Administrator (Systems Administration Staff III/IV), you will oversee server and endpoint infrastructure that supports some of the company's most critical missions. You will join a company that develops cutting edge solutions for our nation's most complex space enterprise and mission assurance challenges.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform all aspects of system administration, including:
  • Installing, configuring, and patching operating systems and applications
  • Managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies
  • Maintaining and monitoring system performance and availability
  • Responding to and resolving incidents, from Tier 1 user support through Tier 3 complex technical issues
• Administer, secure, and maintain a diverse infrastructure including:
  • Windows Server/Desktop, Linux, and Virtualization
• Administer and improve endpoint protection, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities
• Develop Power Shell and Ansible scripts to automate administration and compliance tasks
• Evaluate and remediate security findings from Tenable (ACAS) and SCAP/STIG tools
• Maintain compliance with RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIG requirements

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for Systems Administration Staff III
:

• Active Secret clearance
• DoD approved 8570 baseline certification such as Security+ or equivalent
• Minimum 6 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency with Windows Server/Active Directory and Windows Desktop
• Working knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGs
• Demonstrated ability to remediate vulnerabilities identified by ACAS and SCAP tools

In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for Systems Administration Staff IV include:

• Minimum 10 or more years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree or, 8 or more years of relevant experience with Master's Degree
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMWare VSphere) and Cisco networking (IOS, Nexus OS)
• Experience automating repetitive tasks with scripting or Dev Ops tools
• Knowledge and experience deploying SPLUNK and other cyber tools
