IT User Support Specialist
Seeking a highly motivated IT User Support Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Set up accounts for new users. Maintain the asset inventory. Ship equipment to remote employees. Perform IT New Hire Orientation if the IT Manager is unavailable Helpdesk Support:
Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone). Respond in a timely manner to support cases. Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and updates as necessary. Provide an effective and responsive helpdesk service and ensure clients/staff are kept informed of progress. Diagnose and resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.
Repair and replace equipment, as necessary. Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency. Administer, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot SharePoint Online and One Drive for Business. Perform Site administration including permissions management, lists, views, libraries, Office client integration, content management, file/data management. Train employees in the proper use of computers, software, and phone system usage.
Ensure systems and applications are effective, reliable, and meet the service delivery needs of all departments. Log bugs, enhancement requests, and update tickets as necessary. Cybersecurity:
Monitor and maintain computer systems. Monitor and maintain the corporate office network. Investigate Spam / Malicious emails.
Required Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, One Drive, SharePoint, and Teams. Experienced with cloud-based computing. Knowledge of DFAR/NIST Cybersecurity regulations, policies, and procedures Must be a U.S. Citizen Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field and 1-4 years of relevant work experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
