Air And Missile Defense Software Development Team Product Owner
i3 is looking for an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS SW Development Team Product Owner (PO) to join our team. The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) SW (Software) Development Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).
Responsibilities
The PO will be responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for the TIS team. The TIS team is responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software. The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Have a bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences, or mathematics.
- Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.
- Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
- Be a US citizen.
Other
Qualifications:
- An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2
BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more of the DoD services. - Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
