Provide support to the Product Support Manager in development and implementation of comprehensive product support strategies for a major Army weapon system where the end results are used to create required Acquisition Documentation. Develop ideas and guide their development into a final product. Ensure appropriate cost analyses are documented to validate the product support strategy. At the Product Support Manager’s direction review product support arrangements between the Product Support Integrators and Product Support Providers to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategies.

Perform integrated product support analysis and life cycle procurement research to develop life cycle logistics support that provides best value. Will also assist with training needs analysis, implementation planning, sustainment, and validation/verification activities and will interface with government personnel to identify required activities, perform collaborative planning, review deliverables, and resolve issues.

• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to accomplish assigned tasks to support PM STARE.
• Support the Product Support Manager Life Cycle initiatives (including LCSP, CARD, BOIP, Training, TM development and MR) to ensure achievement of desired product support outcomes through development and implementation of appropriate product support arrangements.
• Support Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP) development activities. Provide coordinated responses and assess for accuracy for senior management review.
• Support Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) development activities. Provide coordinated responses and assess for accuracy for senior management review. Identify erroneous decisions or recommendations that would result in failure to achieve critical project objectives.
• Review, Assess and provide input for Product Support Analysis.
• Assist in the development of documentation for Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Determine the learning strategies required to meet the learning needs of the customer.
• Assist in the development of Interactive Multimedia Instructions (IMI) products.
• Technical publication validation, verification, and Logistics Demonstration (LD) process development and support.
• Develop and maintain administrative processes that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives.
• Monitor progress on actions, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep senior management aware of late, pending and new actions. Develop and maintain an action status database.
• Develop and maintain presentations.
• Evaluate instructor performance and assist in the design and development of new (and/or updating of existing) TSPs to continuously improve the training.
• Participate in internal committees, Integrated Process Team (IPT), working groups and task forces.
• Develops, organizes, and maintains supporting instructional materials such as practical exercises, examinations (written and hands-on), student handouts, background material, instructional aids, and training aids.
• Coordinate and manage Program Schedules for Senior Management Review.

• Must be able to obtain a secrete clearance.
• Experience in requirements fulfillment Acquisition Milestones documentation.
• BS degree in DoD based Logistics (i.e. Logistics Management, Supply chain Management, Operations Research, Logistics Operations) or 5 years of experience in Acquisition Logistics

• Functional experience in the development of Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP)
• Functional experience in the development of Materiel Fielding Plans (MFP)
• Functional experience in documentation development for Materiel Release (MR)
• Life Cycle Logistics certification (Foundational Tier and/or Advanced Tier)
