Field Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Field Engineer to support mission-critical IT and systems deployments for government and commercial clients. In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain field-based hardware, networks, and software, perform on-site troubleshooting, and support system integration and testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable solutions, document technical work, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain field-based IT, network, and systems solutions
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of hardware and software issues
• Support deployment, integration, and testing of new technologies at customer locations
• Document configurations, changes, test results, and incident resolutions
• Collaborate with engineering, cyber, and project teams to meet mission requirements
• Ensure compliance with security, safety, and quality standards at all sites
• Provide technical guidance and training to end users and junior staff
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to mission-critical field issues
