Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Sign Language Interpreter license or permit
• Interpreting certification preferred (RID, EIPA, BEI, or similar)
• Prior school-based interpreting experience a plus
• Experience of fering 1:1 support to students, ideally in educational contexts
• Consistent, dependable attendance and commitment through May 28, 2027
• Availability to work the full school schedule (8:00 AM 2:30 PM, no late arrivals or early departures)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 interpreting services for a student throughout the school day
• Support classroom learning, activities, and social interaction by facilitating effective communication
• Collaborate closely with teachers, educational teams, and school staff
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability at all times
• Participate in team meetings and training as required
