Senior Procurement Manager - Aerospace

Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Management

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for aerospace materials, components, and commodities.
• Lead supplier qualification, second-source development, and supply readiness initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis, cost modeling, RFQ/RFP processes, and source selection activities.
• Manage domestic and international sourcing, outsourcing, and in sourcing decisions.
• Support new product development and product launch activities.

• Negotiate and execute long‑term supplier agreements and strategic contracts.
• Lead contract strategy development, pricing analysis, and commercial negotiations.
• Present sourcing recommendations and business cases to executive leadership.
• Ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

• Serve as procurement representative on cross‑functional aerospace teams.
• Provide executive‑level communication regarding supply chain risks and mitigation plans.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with customers and senior leadership.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management.

• Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Export Control requirements, and procurement policies.
• Support government reporting and Small Business Program requirements.
• Provide procurement policy interpretation and audit support.

• Lead and mentor procurement professionals and cross‑functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analytics and performance metrics.
• Manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

• 4-year degree in a related discipline.
• 5 or more years of proven expertise in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation;
  Aerospace Industry experience would be advantageous.
• Strong background in supplier relationship management and supply chain risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage data analytics to drive informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading complex projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations, with a commitment to maintaining compliance in regulated environments.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience developing, mentoring, and guiding high‑performing teams.
