Senior Logistics Analyst
Leads logistics process analysis and supply-chain optimization for AMCOM SCMD, turning operational data into actionable recommendations. Analyzes inventory, demand/supply, transportation, warehouse efficiency, MRP adherence, supply availability, excess inventory, risk, and trends; directs junior analysts and brief findings. Provides specialized analytics focused on logistics and supply chain operations, utilizing data analytics techniques to optimize and enhance logistics processes. Monitors and analyzes supply, demand, receipt, and issue activities.
Logistics analytics include Inventory management, Transportation management, Warehouse operations, Order fulfillment, Supply chain visibility, and Performance metrics.
- Bachelor's in Logistics, Business, or related field
- 7+ years Army logistics
- 3+ years hands-on LMP
- Experience with Army supply regulations
- Expertise in inventory management; demand/supply planning; forecasting; transportation optimization;
Excel/visualization - SECRET clearance or eligibility
