Job Summary

We are immediately hiring for the Leadership Development Program in Huntsville, AL for our Supply Chain Solutions division.

Eligibility

Open only to candidates who earned their bachelor’s degree in December 2025 or will graduate in May 2026.

Compensation
  • Pay Type:

    Exempt / Salary paid twice per month
  • Annual Salary: $60,000
  • Program begins:
    June 2026

Program Overview
  • 12‑month rotational program spanning 2‑3 roles within Ryder’s Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial verticals.
  • Operational experience in distribution management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain engineering.
  • Exposure to executive leadership and a program advocate mentor.
  • Physical relocation 1–2 times during the 12‑18 month assignment.
Essential Functions
  • Supervise, coordinate, and oversee three different day‑to‑day supply chain operations, including warehousing, logistics optimization centers, dedicated transportation, and engineering.
  • Plan and review logistics processes with site leadership to meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Participate in project‑based activities such as Kaizen events, shadow analytics teams, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement.
  • Travel as required to support locations and relocate 1–2 times in 18 months.
  • Present process changes and feedback to customers and management; deliver mid‑program presentations to executive leadership.
  • Maintain regular contact with site leadership, mentors, and program advocates through formal and informal touchpoints, virtual learning, and development sessions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • 1 year of extracurricular leadership experience.
  • Preferred: 1 year of previous internship experience.
