Senior Production Program Manager

Overview

i3 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Program Production Manager to join our dynamic Engineer Systems and Integration (ESI) portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost, schedule, and performance of production-based projects surrounding manufacturing, integration, sustainment, and system development within the defense industry. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

• Provide subject matter expertise on respective requirements and standards.
• Instill best practices, ensure designs meet requirements, and responsible for delivering high-quality services.
• Directly oversee project management, managing of technical teams, and interfacing/briefing Corporate Executives and DoD customers.
• Lead program change management and the resulting cost and schedule modifications appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintaining contract baselines and consistently monitoring the program(s) ETCs, EACs, etc.
• Own execution decisions that directly impact the overall cost and performance of program(s).
• Oversee material production including floor planning, workflow, integration, procurement, and acceptance requirements.
• Determine best practices for manufacturing execution and manufacturing readiness for system(s) acceptance.
• Responsible for all staffing decisions, skill mix, and assessments.
• Align with strategic goals and objectives of the Portfolio.
• Responsible for growth, development, and nurturing of people, programs, capabilities, and execution activities.
• Be an advocate within the team for maintaining the i3 culture and embodying i3 core values.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs that include multiple subcontractors, material vendors, and demanding customers.
• Demonstrated ability to manage costs on a multimillion-dollar design and development program to include ETCs, EACs, and other cost accounting methods.
• A BS/BA Degree in Engineering from an accredited university is required.
• 20+ years of experience surrounding the defense and/or the industrial industry is required.
• Manufacturing experience on large scale production efforts is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
• An active DoD Security Clearance is preferred.
• Foreign Military Sales experience is preferred.
• DoD Proposals experience is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
