What You Will DoThe Executive Director, in partnership with the management company, is responsible for the overall stability, success, and day-to-day operations of the community. This role holds ultimate authority and accountability for all functional areas of the community.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establishing and implementing the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
Providing strategic leadership, planning, and direction on matters impacting the community.
Ensuring the development and execution of sound programs, best practices, policies, and procedures across all departments, including marketing, public relations, resident services, financial management, healthcare services, facilities, risk management, quality assurance, hospitality, and first impressions.
Ensuring full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Providing timely, accurate reports, analyses, and recommendations to Greenbrier Senior Living regarding community operations.
Planning, directing, and evaluating the performance of all Department Directors.
Maintaining open, effective communication with residents, associates, and resident sponsors.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position directly supervises Department Leaders and is responsible for recruiting and hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employment separation decisions.
Why You Are QualifiedBachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current Assisted Living/Memory Care Administrator license in the applicable state required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible management experience in senior living, long-term care, or a related field.
Ability to perform daily physical activities throughout the workday, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping, and fine motor manipulation.
