COLSA Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler in Huntsville, AL to support our uncrewed systems capability. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating production planning, material readiness, and manufacturing execution to support the build and delivery of advanced aerial platforms.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (
* Essential functions):
- Development and management of manufacturing bills of material for multiple platforms*
- Development of manufacturing processes and procedures*
- Create, release, and manage work orders in the ERP/MRP system*
- Sequence and prioritize production jobs to meet customer and program requirements*
- Manage kitting, staging, and material availability for production orders*
- Work instruction development and maintenance*
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials*
- Performs assembly of mechanical and electrical drones, and buildup of assemblies & subassemblies
- Participates in Preliminary Design Reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, and Post-Production Reviews*
- Technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing*
- Assists with inventory management activities*
- Manages supplies and equipment for the team*
- Assist with the development of a Master Production Schedule
- Make vs. Buy analysis on all components across all platforms*

Required Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of 7-9 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands on experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
- US Citizenship required;
May be required to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance
- 2+ years of manufacturing on a government contract
- Experience with Deltek MRP or SAP
- Experience managing government furnished equipment
- Experience with configuration management
