Position: Electro-Mechanical Technician with Security Clearance
Electro-Mechanical Technician Program

Description:

This program supports the hands-on development and fabrication of complex hardware systems in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment. The team focuses on building, integrating, and supporting electrical and mechanical assemblies that directly enable system development, testing, and delivery. Success in this program requires strong teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to take ownership across a wide range of fabrication and support activities.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, and support electrical and mechanical hardware in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and work instructions. Perform cable fabrication and harness assembly in compliance with IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards. Support integration and test activities by preparing hardware, assisting with setup, and addressing build issues. Use hand tools and fabrication equipment to build, modify, and repair assemblies as needed.

Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing staff to resolve issues and meet program objectives. Communicate build status, issues, and improvements clearly within the team. Maintain a high level of workmanship, organization, and accountability in all tasks. Take on a variety of responsibilities as needed to support team success in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

Experience in mechanical or electrical technician work.
3-5 years of experience preferred

Experience with cabling and cable assemblies

Experience with machining and manufacturing
Desired

Skills:

Electrical technician for threat systems
Reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems.
Have IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or prove the ability to perform cable fabrication work.
