We are seeking a detail-oriented, Assembly Integration Technician, Mid-Level to join our team. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electrical assembly, including fabrication, subassembly, and final integration, in accordance with work orders and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complete mechanical and electrical assembly, including component fabrication, subassembly, and final integration in accordance with a work order and engineering drawings.
  • Perform all production and manufacturing functions, including assembly of mechanical and electrical enclosures, interpretation of technical drawings, and execution of product quality inspections.
  • Cut, sort, color‑code, measure, crimp, solder, and route various lengths, types, and gauges of wire, heat‑shrink, and other related materials to form wire harnesses.
  • Operate a full range of electrical and mechanical assembly tools including wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, heat guns, torque wrenches, rivet guns, drill presses, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and follow wire harness assembly instructions.
  • Gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner.
  • Conduct hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions.
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Education Requirements And Desired Skillsets
  • Skilled in operating floor machinery (mills, lathes, drill presses), hand tools (drills, grinders), and precision instruments (calipers, gauges, multimeters) preferred.
  • IPC certifications preferred: IPC-A-630, IPC-WHMA-A-620, and IPC-J-JSTD-001.
  • 3–5 years demonstrated relevant experience in related field.
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with physical demands that are associated with work.
  • Experience with warehouse and manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Experience With Mechanical And Electrical Assemblies, Required.
  • U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance preferred; ability to maintain the designated security clearance level is required.
Physical Description

Employees in these positions will work in an assembly, manufacturing, and production environment, as well as in equipment assembly areas using technical and electronic testing equipment, including specialized software. They will collaborate with various personnel in a manufacturing or testing setting, attend meetings, contribute to team efforts, deliver timely results, produce reports, and communicate information effectively. Telework may be included. In specialized laboratory or testing environments, employees will use electronic testing equipment, complex systems, and computer software.

The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and lab coats may be required. Employees may be responsible for lifting, moving, testing, and assembling equipment of various weights and utilizing a variety of electronic testing tools.
