Electronics Troubleshooting Technician

We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Production Troubleshooting Electronics Technician. This position reports to the Production & Warehouse Supervisor and will work in Huntsville.

As a Production Troubleshooting Technician of the Huntsville team, you will be involved in testing, troubleshooting to the component level, and repairing of electrical systems, equipment, and assemblies.

• May include root cause analysis of component and systems failures, test execution and data collection, and designing and implementing product testing infrastructure.
• The Electronics Troubleshooter may work with engineering on new product development and tester repair and design.
• The Electronics Troubleshooter must be able to document corrective actions and preventative actions, as well as work/test instructions.
• Troubleshooting is performed utilizing drawings, schematics, and tools which include DMM, oscilloscope, function generator, and other test equipment.
• The Electronics Troubleshooter will assist production as needed.
• Duties must be performed timely and accurately, with clear communication as appropriate, in a safe manner that achieves department productivity, quality and cost targets, all while maintaining good housekeeping using the principles of 5S.
• Other duties as assigned.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within manufacturing and electronics as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

• Soldering of both surface mount and through hole components
• Must have fundamental understanding of transistors, diodes, silicone-controlled rectifiers (SCRs), and insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs)
• Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all work assigned
• Must be able to meet department KPI standards (productivity, quality, cost and pick time)
• Ability to lead or participate in Continuous Improvement projects
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds, climb ladders and stand or walk throughout scheduled shift
• Must be reliable and on time to work each da
