Candidate will work closely with vendors and purchasing to ensure material purchases will meet deadlines. Candidate should have working knowledge of bills of material for electronic and mechanical components. Strong written and verbal communication and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.

• Working with Vendors to obtain quotes, PO status, and delivery schedule
• Evaluate material demand using Costpoint
• Communicate material status to the PC Planning Team
• Communicate material status and issues with Program Managers
• Ensure quality notes are flown down to purchasing on all material requisitions
• Report out at Program Meetings both material status and cost data

• Bachelor's degree; 4 additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Detail‑oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
• Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and quality control principles (AS9100).
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Effective communication within a team environment.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville‑North Alabama, AL area.
• US Citizenship required and eligibility to obtain and maintain secret security clearance.

• Active security clearance
• Material procurement experience in a manufacturing environment (DOD Preferred)
