Position Summary
There is a current need for a CNC Machinist to work 2nd shift at the Parker Hannifin location in Huntsville, Alabama. The job requires the set‑up and operation of CNC machines to perform precision metal cutting. This position is full‑time with a $2.00/hour shift premium and quarterly profit sharing. - Set-up and operate CNC machines
- Understand CNC programs
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments
- Apply machine shop mathematics
- Utilize lean principles
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Participate in work groups High Performance Teams for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee
Standing for 8-10 hours per day; frequent reaching, grasping and lifting up to 25 lbs.; occasional walking; working in and around oil and solvent.
Qualifications- HS diploma required.
- Some previous education and/or experience operating CNC machines is strongly preferred.
