Leidos’ Defense Sector Manufacturing Platform Integration Facility (PIF) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical AIT Manufacturing Manager to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. The ideal candidate will thrive in learning environments that encourage leadership and technical growth. Experienced individual will lead a team of assembly, integration, and test technicians that will work closely with a team of engineers and customers to design and build hardware to meet unique technical requirements.
Selected candidate will bring a diverse set of skills and an aptitude for solving complex problems. You will interpret drawings and use critical thinking to not only build and fabricate production and prototype hardware, as well as test and deploy the hardware.

PrimaryResponsibilities
- Manage and lead manufacturing electro-mechanical assembly, integration and test efforts to support platform integration activities.
- Interpretation of drawings, using critical thinking to not only build and fabricate production and prototype hardware, as well as test and deploy the hardware.
- Building Electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Create and maintain work instructions.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation.
- Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems for DoD.
- Interest in fabrication of hardware, be mechanically inclined, and demonstrate a good work ethic and responsibility.
- Good communication skills, working well on a team with diverse skillsets
