Production Leader

A leading manufacturer in the flooring industry is seeking a Tufting Supervisor to lead production operations at its Decatur, AL facility. This role will oversee daily tufting activities, ensure quality and safety standards are met, drive production performance, and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader looking to make a direct impact on plant operations.

The Tufting Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Lead daily tufting operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals
• Coordinate staffing, machine assignments, and production schedules
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Support machine setup, material availability, and production flow
• Train, mentor, and develop production associates
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and support 6S standards

The Tufting Supervisor should have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required;
• 3+ years of tufting, carpet, textile, or related manufacturing experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of tufting operations, quality standards, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skill
