Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is  responsible fortheday-to-dayproductionat aMillwork

Plant, as well as overseeing all shipping and receiving functions.

Coaches,motivate sand supports the production crewand the Millwork dock team, applying a team approach andmaintainingopen communication with the staff.

This position is responsible forthe production and dockteam atthe Huntsville, ALMillwork

Plant.

Direct reports include approximately 15– 25 productionanddockemployees.

Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Coachthe production team to produce and prioritize jobs and, when necessary, reorganize to meet deadlines and updates
• Ensure that all produced products are loaded and shipped onto enclosed trailers in a safe andtimelymanner
• Oversee all inbound receiving functions for the location
• Comply withall OSHA safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with the management staff,the production teamand the dock team, informing and updating them regularly to ensure that productionobjectivesaremet
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Organize workflow according to workload to ensure the completion of the production and shipping schedule
• Oversee all staff scheduling, time off requests
• Monitor quality and accuracy of allorders
• Ensure the completion of all duties with minimum waste and abuse of equipment
• Ensure employee safety training is conducted as required
• Provide a positive, motivating example for employees
• Conduct training or authorize training of production and dock employees
• Conduct formal performance reviews per the company’s policy.
  
  Initiate disciplinary action according to company policy.
• Take all necessary action to manage production cost and improve profit
• Inform Manager of equipment,production, shipping, and receiving concerns
• Monitor ongoingoperationalissues and provide clear communications and resolutions
• Maintain aclean and safe work environment

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience

• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
