Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Deburr Technician to join our Platform Integration Facility team in Huntsville, AL. Primary Responsibilities- Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing of machine parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect parts for defects, burrs, and sharp edges to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate basic equipment such as grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products as needed.
- Assist with general labor tasks including material handling, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Support production team with assembly, packaging, and other shop tasks as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Read and follow basic work instructions, blueprints, or diagrams (if applicable).
- Must possess a High School diploma/GED with 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in deburring, polishing and finishing machine parts with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift (certification preferred).
- Ability to use hand tools and basic machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work a full-time, 4-days per week 10-hours per shift.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, deburring, or general labor.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $40,300.00 - $72,850.00
