We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at UAB Medical West. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of patient safety. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.
Your role will be critical in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care and outcomes.
****$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS****
Minimum Qualifications:- Active RN license in the state of employment
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- BLS is required or must obtain within 30 days of hire date.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an acute care setting
- Certification in a specialty area such as critical care or emergency nursing
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assessing and evaluating patient health status
- Developing and implementing patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
As an RN, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and their families, as well as with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in assessing patient needs and developing effective care plans. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
