The CRNA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.

Coverage & Rotations- Our CRNAs cover 133 anesthetizing locations across Huntsville Hospital Health System
- Opportunities available in pediatrics, obstetrics, orthopedics, cardiovascular care and more
- Option to rotate throughout affiliate facilities, with shift options available at Huntsville Hospital
Locations include Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, Decatur Morgan Hospital, Athens‑Limestone Hospital, Athens‑Limestone Surgery Center, Madison Hospital and Madison Hospital Outpatient Endoscopy.
Benefits & Incentives- Sign‑on bonus: $75,000 with a three‑year work commitment

Join our voluntary call teams at Huntsville Hospital, Cardiovascular Operating Room, and age 3+ call plus Pediatrics at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children.
Education & Qualifications- Holds current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or a compact state RN license; complies with applicable regulatory requirements for CRNAs.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Currently certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Demonstrates current competency in the clinical responsibilities specified below.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS from American Heart Association
- Perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
- Operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care and necessary perioperative support.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clinical staff and other disciplines.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the patient population(s) served.
- Knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan, assessing data relative to population‑specific needs.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
- Maintain confidential records.
- Implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
