Job Overview

Focus Staff is seeking a Travel Nursing RN Home Health for a 13‑week assignment in Huntsville, Alabama. Specialty:

Hours:

40 per week, 8‑hour days.

Candidates are expected to have phenomenal efficiency, attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, be compassionate, sensitive, a critical thinker, and able to act quickly in emergencies.

• Motivated, looking for career growth.
• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
• BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Home Health RN (Certified Home Health RN).

• Organize, communicate, and lead professionally.
• Supervise patient care activities to ensure compliance with accepted nursing and medical practice standards.
• Establish and maintain personnel and employment policies, ensuring only qualified personnel are hired.
• Verify licensure and/or certification prior to employment and annually thereafter.
• Develop and maintain agency policy and procedure manuals to support quality patient care, cost controls, quality assurance, and disciplinary mechanisms.
• Enforce agency policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and promote the health and safety of employees and patients.
