ALF Staff Nurse; LPN

The LPN – Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for the nursing staff in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Regency standards.

We are seeking a competent Staffing Coordinator to undertake tasks such as recruitment, orientation, and placement of employees. The role also involves ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant employment laws.

The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, capable of fostering relationships with employees and external vendors. Experience in hiring, onboarding, and other human resources procedures is preferred.

The goal is to ensure staffing requirements are consistently met and that employees work in a friendly, supportive environment.

• Attended an accredited LPN program.
• Currently licensed/registered in Alabama, maintaining an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.

• Schedule facility staff at levels determined by DON/Administrator.
• Prepare and maintain records of all shift schedules and communicate clearly to staff.
• Understand State requirements and forecasting.
• Perform functions of a charge nurse as required.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards residents.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents when necessary.
• Use reasoning skills and good judgment to perform job functions.
• Communicate effectively and work productively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
