Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and nursing assessments.
  • Monitor patient health and report changes to the Registered Nurse or Provider.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation.
  • Assist with chronic care, sick call, intake screenings, and emergency response.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and correctional personnel.
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while following established clinical protocols.
Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted LPN license in Alabama.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality patient care.
  • Correctional nursing experience welcomed but not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
