Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Veteran Evaluations
No Treatment | No On-Call | Flexible Schedule
Huntsville, AL
The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to perform medical disability evaluations for our Veteran Affairs (VA) line of business. This role offers a predictable schedule with no treatment responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexibility while continuing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans.
Schedule- 2 days per week based on clinic needs and provider availability
- Full-time opportunities available for interested candidates
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for veterans applying for VA disability benefits
- Review medical histories, service records, and supporting documentation
- Perform focused physical examinations
- Document findings and complete detailed, objective reports using our user-friendly electronic system
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of evaluations
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alabama
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational health, orthopedics, or a related specialty preferred
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Meaningful work supporting our nation's veterans
- No treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care required
- No call, nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
