Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Material Review Board (MRB) Coordinator to assist the PDW Quality Assurance and Supply Chain programs
What You'll Do- Initiate and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) utilizing company Jira database system and escalate issues to relevant departments as needed.
- Technical writing to ensure non-conforming conditions are accurately documented.
- Controlling non-conforming product utilized in the manufacture, inspection, testing, and release of finished product.
- Interfacing daily with various departments to provide status of open MRB items and dispositions, and to seek closure on those items.
- Process dispositioned material - Return parts to suppliers, scrap parts, release for rework, release for use as is.
- Ensures material transfers and records transactions as needed to preserve traceability and inventory location accuracy.
- Maintains the accuracy of identification and count of materials. Responsible for maintaining accurate physical inventory and conducting cycle counts to MRB ERP locations.
- Assist with containment initiatives during a non-conformance event, preventing non-conforming material from entering the production stream.
- Collaborating closely with Supply Chain and Materials teams to manage material returns to suppliers and execute Return to Supplier (RTS) actions.
- Preparing Quality Metrics reports, communicating findings to stakeholders, and collaborating with other departments, providing support where needed.
- Proven ability of ERP and computer information systems transactions for maintaining integrity of inventory.
- 1-3 years of MRB experience in a production operations environment
- Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple projects, track progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 standards.
- Experience facilitating Material Review Board meeting to obtain dispositions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read and understand process traveler.
- Proven ability to analyze data to identify trends in rework and replacement requests, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
Work EnvironmentThis position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office equipment. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities.
