Primary ResponsibilitiesInspect components and assembled parts before and after testing.
Must be able to read and understand technical and test instructions.
Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
Perform Internal AS9100 audits.
Write Non‑conformance and start investigation to root cause.
Lead or participate in 5S activities.
Instruct technicians on proper installation assembly and techniques.
Basic Qualifications- Candidate must possess a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
- Must have experience in Testing and Quality Inspections.
- Must have experience in leading operations or teams in completing tasks.
- Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
- Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings and test plans.
- Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use common test and inspection equipment.
- Must have IPC certification.
- Experience in an ISO
9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment. - Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer‑generated inspection reports.
- Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Applicants must be able to work full‑time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
- Previous auditing experience.
- Electronic Component Testing experience
