Test Engineer
Mid-Level Production Test Technician
We are looking for someone to work closely with our defense team to test items for the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB) program in Huntsville, AL.
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama area.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform electrical testing of avionics components during multiple environmental conditions.
- Perform electrical testing of circuit card assemblies.
- Create and analyze random vibration, ignition shock, and pyroshock testing profiles within testing software.
- Operate electrodynamic shaker systems to support testing efforts.
- Execute test procedures to support testing and vehicle delivery.
- Analyze test results to determine outcomes in accordance with testing criteria.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to meet technical and schedule requirements.
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in testing or manufacturing.
- Experience in a MIL‑STD‑810 test environment.
- Background in manufacturing and/or test.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Experience working with a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Experience working with thermal, pressure, acceleration, and vibration test equipment.
- Active security clearance.
- Experience supporting DoD programs related to missile systems, reentry vehicles, or hypersonic technologies.
- Prior work in assembly, integration, or testing of missile systems.
- Experience supporting rapid development, prototyping, or fast‑paced engineering programs.
- Experience in Windchill.
- IPC‑WHMA‑A‑620 certification.
- Experience in environmental and dynamic testing.
- Current DoD Secret clearance.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Pay Range$48,100.00 – $86,950.00
