This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, you will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of developing, testing and launching Space systems to support Blue Origin’s Vision.

** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environments
* Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals
* Review and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.
* Perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100
* Participate in engineering design reviews and make recommendations to improve the quality and manufacturability of new designs
* Recommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system quality
* Provide quality assurance domain expertise to inspection, manufacturing, and test for the Manufacturing team
* Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness.
** Minimum Qualifications
*** Minimum of a B.S. in engineering or equivalent STEM degree with 6+ Years of relevant experience.
* Quality assurance experience in production environment. Aerospace, space launch, military/commercial aviation preferred
* Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO
9001 Quality Management System and/or related quality systems and programs
* Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Working knowledge of Avionics assembly
* Knowledge of Weld and NDT practices
* Working knowledge of Precision Measurement Science fundamentals
* Proficient in the fundamentals of GD&T.
* Working knowledge of quality performance measurement analysis
* Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
* Working knowledge of First Article Inspection
* Quality assurance experience in rocket engine production environment
* Quality Management System audit experience
* Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification
* Working knowledge of aerospace assembly
