Quality Inspector 2nd Shift

Leidos Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a talented Quality Inspector
. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos provides responsive, cost‑effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions. This role supports hardware and systems for high‑energy weapons, launchers, hypersonics, and target surrogates for several DoD customers.

This position is for 2nd shift work. The location is Huntsville, Alabama.

• Inspect components and assembled parts.
• Read and understand assembly instructions.
• Perform internal AS9100 audits.
• Write non‑conformance reports and initiate investigation to root cause.

• High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years of experience in an ISO
  9001/AS9100 environment or equivalent experience in DOD, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing quality control.
• Working knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and IPC‑J‑STD‑001.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Demonstrated effective communication within a team environment.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to the area.

• Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 and IPC‑J‑STD‑001 Space Addendum.

$48,100.00 - $86,950.00
