QA Inspector

Position Summary Providesinspectionsupportandrelatedservicesto the Quality Assurance Department ,Huntsville plant,and division. Maintains records, files, and reports as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspectandverifyproductconformanceagainstacceptancecriteriaforinternalandsuppliedproductsper Parker IPD specifications (dimensional and cosmetic).
• Useofallinspectiontools(hardgaging,electronicgaging,automated inspection).
• Assistin Gage Room duties (pullgagesforcalibration, check-in/outgages,organizegages) excluding actual calibration.
• CompleteQCIordersasstatedwithintheset of instructions.
• Completereportsanddocumentsbasedonorderrequirementsandworkinstructions.
• Perform first article inspections for supplied product and document as required.
• Positive material identification with the XRF Analyzer (radiation safety – wearing dosimetry ring when using)
• Participateinthe Quality HPT.
• Allotherdutiesasassignedby Supervisorordesignee.

Qualifications Education,Credentials and Previous Experience :

• High School Diplomaorequivalent

Technical Depthand Breadth :

• Basicknowledgeofandabilitytouse Microsoft Office applications (Word,Excel, Access) andother business applications (MSS, SAP, Omnex, Enovia, Adobe).
• Workingknowledgeofbasicshoptoolsandgagesusedforverificationofproducts
• Performtaskswithlittlesupervision
• Abletoeffectivelyworkonandmanagemultipletasksdaily,communicateprofessionallywithco-workers, show flexibility to learn multiple jobs within the department, and show aptitude to perform essential job functions listed above.
• Activelyparticipateinimprovementactivities,Lean projects
