Inspect incoming components and assembled parts.
Check documentation for accuracy.
Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions.
Read and understand Drawings and Technical data packages.
Write Non-conformance and start investigation to root cause.
Lead or participate in 5S activities.
Basic Qualificationsa TS/SCI Clearance. Must have 2+ years of JAVA experience.
- Candidate must possess a High School diploma/GED with3-5 years of relevant Quality Inspection experience.
- Must have experience in leading operations or teams in completing tasks.
- Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
- Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
- Must have knowledge of how to efficiently use micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, radius gages, and calipers etc.
- Experience in an ISO
9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment. - Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
- Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Applicants must be able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
- Must be willing to travel to customer sites to perform quality inspections.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen. possess, or be able to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.
- Experience with drawing interpretation both Electrical and Mechanical.
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
- IPC 610/620 certified.
- J-STD certified.
