Our property team members help our buildings thrive by focusing on execution and ensuring a great experience for both residents and guests. Non‑property team members support property execution and the evolution of other areas within our platform. They can enjoy remote‑first work with the freedom to choose their location—as long as they have access to a workspace and reliable Wi‑Fi. We believe collaboration is key, so our remote‑first teams and property leaders have biannual in‑person get‑togethers at various locations across the US.

As a Leasing Agent, you will play a pivotal role in delighting our residents throughout their journey, from the first tour to move‑in and beyond. You will embody our Property Team Mission with each tour and interaction, consistently demonstrating that making a positive impact on our residents’ journey is the core of our operation. This is a full‑time position that may require working during the week, weekend, evenings, and holidays;

• Leasing commission for new leases and renewals

• Consistently provide an exceptional experience to all Placemakr guests, residents and partners.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow property team members to foster a cohesive work environment.
• Maintain a safe, secure and compliant environment for team members and guests.
• Communicate effectively with prospective residents via email, campaigns and marketing materials.
• Build strong rapport with prospective residents throughout the leasing process.
• Demonstrate strong sales acumen and overcome objections with tailored solutions.
• Own all administrative tasks related to leasing to ensure compliance during move‑ins, move‑outs and renewals.
• Maintain move‑in files in accordance with Placemakr standards.
• Deliver accurate on‑site tours, showcasing unique features and addressing questions.
• Own the entire prospect lifecycle from initial contact to lease signing.
• Drive current resident retention efforts, including service initiatives and renewal negotiations.
• Share best practices with new hires and colleagues for continuous improvement.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of experience in leasing, sales or business development.
• Proven track record of hitting leasing or sales goals (experience with Class‑A residential buildings a plus).
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Knowledge of leasing rules and FFH regulations (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Ability to learn and follow administrative processes and use CRM or leasing tools.
• Can‑do attitude and collaborative mindset.
