Job Summary

We are looking for a fast-paced and detail-oriented Food Runner to serve as the critical link between our kitchen and our guests. Your primary mission is to ensure every dish reaches the correct table quickly, at the peak of freshness, and with perfect presentation. You will support both the kitchen and waitstaff to maintain a seamless flow of service during our busiest hours.

• Order Delivery: Promptly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct guest using memorized table numbers and pivot points.
• Quality Control: Inspect every plate before it leaves the kitchen to ensure it meets our standards for accuracy, garnish, and temperature ("Hot Food Hot, Cold Food Cold").
• Communication: Act as the primary liaison between Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH), relaying special requests, dietary restrictions, or order issues clearly to the chefs.
• Guest Service: Anticipate guest needs by providing appropriate condiments, extra silverware, or refills on water and beverages upon delivery.
• Table Maintenance: Assist servers and bussers by clearing empty plates and glassware between courses to keep dining areas clean.
• Station Management: Keep the expeditor/running station stocked with essential supplies like garnishes, sauces, and clean tray liners.

• Experience: Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates with a "can-do" attitude.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hour shifts and carry heavy trays (up to [35–50] lbs) with balance and dexterity.
• Focus Under Pressure: Capacity to remain calm, professional, and organized in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent memory for table numbers and a sharp eye for plate presentation.
• Availability: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
