Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance with product selection, including plants, gardening tools, and outdoor supplies
• Offer expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and plant identification to help customers achieve their outdoor goals
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts processing
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Assist with inventory management by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks
• Support e-commerce initiatives by processing online orders and managing product availability in-store
• Communicate effectively via phone to answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
• Engage in outdoor work activities such as planting demonstrations or landscape maintenance tasks when needed
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing questions promptly and resolving issues efficiently
• Contribute to a clean, organized store environment that promotes safety and ease of shopping

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in outdoor goods, gardening or floral design fields
• Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, or gardening techniques is highly advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is beneficial
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock and merchandising effectively
• Outdoor work experience enhances understanding of landscaping tools and plant care practices
• Passion for customer service combined with a proactive attitude to support team goals
