As a Security Coordinator - Level 3 your role at Huntsville, AL will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Ready to join forces with our visionary team? In this job, you will:
* Be responsible for database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirements

* Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards

* Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control

* Maintain lock and key records

* Process visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas

* Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances

* Maintain controlled security documents and information

* Support a fast-paced high-profile environment

* Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers

* Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program

* Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets

* Perform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities

* Manage secure conference room calendars and offer security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience

* Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

* Experienced with computers and desktops

* Experienced with Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule and DoDM 5205.07 Special Access Program Security Manual

* Proficient with SIMS/DISS

* Completed security training (ex. CDSE)

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $81,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
