HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex Security Officers in the Huntsville, AL area. These positions offer a pay rate of $17.00/hr with weekly pay.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends.
• Must be capable to stand, sit, bend, reach, and/or walk up to 45 minutes consistently.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Truck gate experience is preferred.
• AL security license is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and critical thinking skills.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

• Ensure the security of the area, including the outside premises.
• Ensure the rules and regulations are followed.
• Report writing (daily activity, incident, visitor logs, maintenance items, etc.).
• Checking in visitors, ensuring policies are followed, foot patrols, access control.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.

• You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need. While you may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, this will not be a permanent assignment.
• Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
• You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
• Some of your shifts will be scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule. Sometimes you will be called with short notice and asked to come in to cover for someone who is unable to work their shift.
• You are expected to work any shift for which you are scheduled in advance which falls within the availability described on this sheet. If you know you will be unavailable on an upcoming date or time that would normally fall within your availability described on this sheet, you must communicate this with your supervisor, so they know not to schedule you.
