Hours

Part‑time: 24 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Educational Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.

Experience Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of office experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and general computer operation
  • Experience answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Preferred: experience with security regulations for secure buildings
Other Qualifications
  • Resume required with application
  • Current/active secret‑level, security clearance mandatory
  • Authorized insurance coverage for agency or personal vehicle use, good driving record, valid driver’s license
  • Background check completion per company requirements
  • Confidentiality and communication skills (spoken and written)

Job Responsibilities Summary

Perform scheduled vault checks to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities. Stay alert for unusual behavior, unlocked doors, or signs of forced entry, and report findings immediately. Oversee entry points by verifying identities of individuals attempting to gain access, using identification checks, visitor logs, and access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel are admitted. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances: react immediately, assess the situation, determine the appropriate response, investigate the cause, contact emergency services if needed, and neutralize threats.

Functions
  • Walk 1.5 miles four times during a 12‑hour workday
  • Drive between designated buildings and other locations during daylight and nighttime hours without issue
  • Maintain a driver’s license and authorized coverage under agency insurance
  • Perform door checks at a 3‑hour rotation, secure all doorway locations, and record on the log sheet (SF 702)
  • Respond to emails from supervisors and customers
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Interact professionally with co‑workers, other professionals, and interested parties
  • Use Microsoft Office software and specific government‑required software
  • Comply with Operations Security and Information Security requirements
  • Arrive on time and ready for the assigned schedule
  • Provide high‑level customer service to all patrons and coworkers
  • Take direction, interact, and maintain open communication with supervisor/lead
  • Obtain and maintain a secret‑level security clearance
