Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated experienced Security Specialist to help us support and grow with our current government customers.

Duties Include:
  • Collaborate with FSO on security documents & procedures; assist with development of security document control process
  • Assist the FSO with creation and development of security education and training
  • Ensure compliance for all collateral DD254s
  • Assist with international requirements to include export compliance, foreign visitor requirements, and other related activities
  • Provide security guidance to department leads as it relates to Invariant's FCL and government compliance
  • Assist with security reviews to include DCSA visits and formal security self-inspections
  • Coordinate, document, and manage personnel SCI access in ACCS (Army Centralized Contracts and Security Portal)
  • Assist FSO with government compliant data management for personnel security (DISS, NISS, and SWFT)
  • Assist FSO with physical security procedures; coordinate scheduled maintenance with Facility Manager to ensure an Escort is assigned for visits
  • Assist the FSO with facility procedures as they relate to classified material inventory and storage
  • Assist the COMSEC Custodian in performing COMSEC duties
  • Serve as the primary authority for security administration and management for the SAP Facility (SAPF)
Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree or higher in Business Administration, or other related degree program from an accredited college/university and at least 3-5 years of DoD security experience.

  • Intermediate knowledge of NISPOM and government regulations
  • Intermediate knowledge of DOD Manual 5205.07
  • This role necessitates a mandatory FSO certification
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated task management skills
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to a high level of customer service
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers, customers, vendors, and business professionals
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Adobe
Preferred qualifications include
  • COMSEC account management experience in accordance with NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16, to include maintaining COMSEC Accounting System (DIAS) and related records

Has previous experience in customer service and strong communication skills

  • Prior experience serving as a CSSO
  • Able to work productively independently and as part of a team
  • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Sitting for extended periods of time at desk, in telecoms/meetings with peers, management
EQUIPMENT AND MACHINES
  • Requires ability to operate a personal computer, telephone, printer, copier, and other general office equipment
OTHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
