Aircraft Mechanic (UH-60 & CH-47)
Location: Huntsville, AL
Pay Rate: $36.00-$40.00/hr
Job DescriptionThis role supports a Department of State aviation program by performing maintenance, resets, and modifications on UH-60, SH-60, CH-47, and AH-64 aircraft. You will work in a structured, air-conditioned facility as part of a growing team focused on high-quality helicopter and aircraft maintenance, including line and phase maintenance activities.
Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, resets, and phase maintenance on UH-60, SH-60, CH-47, AH-64, and King Air aircraft.
- Inspect airframe, powerplant, and related systems to identify wear, damage, or defects and complete appropriate repairs or component replacements.
- Support line maintenance operations for UH-60 and AH-64 aircraft, ensuring aircraft are safe, mission-ready, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Follow all maintenance documentation requirements, accurately recording work performed, parts used, and inspections completed.
- Adhere to safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and quality standards while working in the hangar and on the flight line.
- At least 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Experience with phase maintenance or RESET on helicopters (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with UH-60, CH-47, AH-64, and/or King Air aircraft.
- Proficiency in airframe and powerplant maintenance activities.
- Ability to perform helicopter maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and functional testing.
- Willingness to work either 1st or 2nd shift, with flexibility to support overtime as needed.
- Ability to successfully complete a hands-on technical test on the first day.
- Strong adherence to safety, technical documentation, and maintenance standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
